Overview
Training provides the skills necessary to run first aid appointed persons training.
This training may be available onsite; please contact us if you are interested.
Audience
This is the ideal package for senior staff in residential care / nursing homes and those providing care in the community who may be called upon to deliver first aid training to employees.
Prerequisites
Participants on this training course must hold a current recognised First Aid at Work Certificate and must ensure their certificate is current when they deliver HSS First Aid (Appointed Persons) Training to others.
Course Outline
Training package includes:
- Two Full Days Training at the Course Venue
- Trainer's copy of the Training Manual with handouts & coloured view foils
- Computer CD containing Presentation, Handouts and Certificate Masters
- Supporting British Heart Foundation First Aid DVD
- Manikin for use in your own sessions
- Accreditation of In house delivery following training
