What will I get out of it?

• Level 3 Award in First Line Management from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
• Credits towards a Level 3 Certificate in First Line Management accredited by the CMI
• Student membership of the CMI including: access to a wide range of online resources,subscription to Professional Manager magazine, discount rates on member events, access to the CMI library of management publications, interactive online Continuing Professional Development system.

Course Outline

You will learn:

• The role and responsibilities of a team leader
• Leadership and Management styles
• Ways to manage your relationship with key stakeholders
• Self-management techniques for optimum effectiveness
• Skills to motivate team members and get buy-in for the team's common purpose

Each One-day Qualification will be delivered via one day of face-to-face training. After the training, you will be given a written assessment to complete and return via email within 30 days. The assessment will require you to embed the knowledge gained from the course within yourr own role. Following successful completion, you will be awarded with a certificate confirming your Level 3 Award in First Line Management accredited by the CMI.

You will then have the option to select 3 of our One-day Qualifications (at the same Level) and once all 3 written assessments have been successfully completed, you will achieve Level 3 Certificate in First Line Management accredited by the CMI.
